IBSEN WOMEN - Put an eagle in a cage / Juni Dahr in Fondahuset

Experience the unique Juni Dahr with an exclusive and intimate performance of Ibsen's Women at Fondahuset in Røros.

IBSENKVINNER explores six of Henrik Ibsen's female characters. Over the course of one hour, we follow Juni Dahr's encounter with Hilde, Hedda, Mrs. Alving, Nora, Ellida and Hjørdis. Henrik Ibsen's texts are tied together by the actor's own personal reflections and thoughts about women's strength and vulnerability - and the underlying theme in Ibsen's dramas: the longing for freedom.

Doors open at 6:00 PM. Enjoy a drink at the bar and the art exhibition "A Doll's House" with artists Elisabeth Werp, Reidun Osvik Wunderbaldinger and Ulf Nilsen before the performance.
